Earth's missing Organ ---- OIL

Sick Planet

Has anyone stopped to think of the possible side effects of physically removing fossil fuels from the earth..... namely oil?

When you think about it, the earth has produced coal, oil and gas naturally and possibly for a good reason. (i.e for it's own use). Who knows, oil may act an insulator or some sort of damper for the planet. And here we are boring holes into our fragile home, and creating huge voids deep under the Earth's surface.

Here's another thing to think about. Imagine the Earth as a spinning car wheel. If it's out of balance, will it will try to spin in a non-uniform manner due to centrifugal forces? Are we interfering with the Earth's natural balancing weights by removing chunks of coal and oil and burning them?

Are any of the above questions related to global warming ?? Who knows....
